more fishing...

Can I just say that I love fishing! I love being outside and I love watching my kids get excited!
We've had so much fun going, even when its been chilly.  Sitting by the fire and cuddling my kids is the best thing in the world!
We have such a great dad!

What a champ! I was so surprised at how brave Reese was to get her own
worms and pull them in half.  I don't even like to do that!

Yep! Those cheap kids poles.....they really work!

hanging out

I could do this everyday

Then we decided to try out Utah Lake. It was REALLY windy out there! We caught a couple catfish then decided to leave.  Cant wait to go more

Fav New Blog!

I have been looking for a really good website for food lately, and somehow managed to find this baby! She has all kinds of EVERYTHING! Healthy, Ethnic, Seasonal, Fun for kids, drinks, desserts! I have tried out a few of her recipes and they are amazing!  So if anyone needs some new ideas for dinner, check her out!  Next time I make something I will post pictures.

I tried out these Creamy Chicken Taquitos and they were SO yummy! And easy too. I used the flour tortillas like she did.  I know I'll be making them again here soon!

Hello Kitty Party

I have so much fun planning birthday parties. Seriously is one of my favorite things to do. So I visited some of my favorite blogs and found some great ideas!

This cake was made by Jenny Bingham @ jenezecakedesign.blogspot.com
She lives in Spanish Fork and did an amazing job! I gave her a photo of something
I wanted and she created it even better! Plus she has great prices.
These pinwheels I found at the Dollar Store. And the cute bright colored
sixlets I found at partyland.
I found these cute Hello Kitty cake pop ideas over at Bakerella.com
Hers turned out much cuter I have to say. I couldnt find the little heart sprinkles,
and I used the edible markers found at walmart (which I don't recommend).
They didn't write on the chocolate as well as I hoped. But they still turned out pretty
cute and were delish!

Happy Birthday Reese Cup!

March 4th was our little Reese's birthday! She turned 4!  I remember when I first met her, she just had her 2nd birthday.  She had little bangs and a sippy cup, and a cute little pot belly!
This year she is celebrating this special day with her Mom, and we all are missing her!  These are two of her favorite songs, so this little tribute is to you baby girl!..... Happy Birthday!

Oh and not sure how the music got scrunched in the middle of the video, but it did. so...sorry

Happy New Year!

This year has been a great one for me! Met great new friends, been some really fun places, got me a great man and beautiful daughter, and become better friends with the most important people in my life.....my family! I cant wait to get going on my new goals, and actually see how far I get with them! haha!  Hope everyone has a wonderful new year!
I want to share a couple of my new favorite things!.....for the new year!

These 2 things have been amazing in helping Carson to read! BOB Books are my favorite! And I would recommend them to every parent who is helping their kids learn how to read.  Carson is just finishing this first set.  There are 12 books in each set, and 5 sets total. We have worked on these 12 for a few months, reading them over and over and over! Carson seems to never get sick of them though, and Im surprised at how well he is doing!
The Leapfrog was suggested to me by my aunt which both my kids LOVE to watch.  It helps them to learn their letters, sounds, and some words!

If you haven't heard of the Idea Room, you have got to check it out! I love following this blog and I actually try a lot of the fun ideas she has. She has suggestions for all kinds of things from organization, crafts, kids, etc.  Her link is http://www.theidearoom.net/

And just one more!  I found this blog "Clean Mama" through The Idea Room.  If you want a good routine or need some cleaning motivation, this is Awesome! She is doing "January is Cleaning Month" you should check it out and print off her printables, and have fun!:) The link is http://cleanmama.blogspot.com/
