These last few months have been very busy for me. Whose not busy these days! Times are trying and it seems everyone is doing their best and working through this season the best way possible for all of our families! It's always good to feel the season spirit that Christmas brings!!! We all feel more grateful and satisfied with the things we have, or at least I hope most of us do.

Living in Salt Lake has been a change, but a good one. Sometimes it can be hard not being next door to family, but I've learned to love and appreciate them that much more! I hope all my family and close friends I haven't seen recently know how much I care about them! Yes we are all busy and it's hard to stay in touch all the time! Know how much I love you ALL! And have a fabulous Christmas this Year!!!

Happy Halloween!

Dave helped the kids carve out Mickey and Minnie pumpkins!

Reese as a "pretty" witch :) and Carson as a Boxer! He loved having his boxing gloves and if you look close you can see his partial blackeye he barely let me do. Halloween was so much fun this year!

Our Days Out!

We went to the Dallas Aquarium yesterday.
It was crazy busy and packed full of people! Probably
would have been more fun without the chaos, but it
was good to be out!

Up the stairs is where we live! Going to be sad leaving it!
The kids loved the Children's Museum! We went
with my Aunt Celia, her friend and all the kids! There was
SO much to do there! They were digging out dino fossils!
Climbing Walls, going through tunnels, and spider webs

planting gardens, milking cows, and looking
for eggs under the chickens. Of course none of
it was real, but they still had fun!

Sweatin it out

So we took the kids to the zoo, and I have NEVER sweat so much in my life! Pretty disgusting, I know! It really wasn't that hot, 85 maybe, but just the humidity! Guess I could never live in Houston! The Zoo here was a lot of fun! Lots to see!

Not a very close shot, but the Albino Alligators are really cool I think.  Carson Loves the Alligators!
Hah ha! Elephants are SO wrinkley!
My Bub!
Cute! Reese wouldn't smile for the pic until she got to hold the penguins beak

Boatin'

This picture is a little dark, but we went boating with a bunch of the guys on the team.  They are all so nice and helped take care of the kids!

There were the hugest carp by the dock!! bigger than I have ever seen before! The guys were feeding them cheetos! So gross!
Dave can never be serious in a picture!

Hikin the Subway!

My family took a trip down to Zions National park this weekend. We went to do a hike called "The Subway" which is about 10 miles and it's awesome! It's a lot of fun because you swim in areas, repel, and walk through the river a lot of the way! The end of the hike is probably the most difficult and it's when you're the most exhausted! But we had so much fun doing it together!

This is right down in some narrows where the water has washed out the walls, which is why they call it the Subway.

One of the areas we had to swim

At the start of our hike!

This was at Grafton Cemetery. The graves here were dated in the 1800s. There were spots where whole families were buried together. The kids ranging from 1-12 buried with their parents. So sad to think what families had to endure through back then.

We found this snake in ghost town. Gus caught a lizard and fed it to the snake!
