Fall, pumpkins, hayrides, and halloween!

Camping, fishing, and hunting!

After we got home from Georgia in August we were very eager to go camping!
We went up Spanish Fork Canyon and spent the night in our tent.(A little chilly:) and then
in the morning went fishing at Gooseberry Lake.  The kids had so much fun! Next year we'll get to
go camping more so Im very excited about that.
Dave got his bull up Spanish Fork Canyon this year! Was so much fun!

Carson turned 5!

I'm a little late on updating my blog! Carson turned 5 on Sept 22nd!
We had a really fun party with lots of family and a few friends.
Some things I love about Carson right now are: that he loves to sing and dance
anywhere and everywhere we go, i wouldn't be surprised if he knew more words to songs than
I do. haha!  He loves when we read Captain Underpants at night, and likes it when
Dave teaches him new things before bed.  He loves when we have Reese for the week.  She's his little
buddy and he looks out for her better than anyone.  He loves to wrestle with Dave and do puzzles,
and he loves Buzz Lightyear!

Disney World Orlando

This Last weekend we decided to take a quick trip and drive
from Atlanta to Orlando and take the kids to Magic Kingdom!
We knew we could only spend a day out there and I was worried
all the driving and long day there would just make the kids tired.
But it turned out to be the most fun day I've had with the kids
all Summer!  Disney World really IS a magical place!
We got there around 9:30am, rode the ferry into the park, and
found BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! The ride was our most favorite!
So fun! Then of course we did EVERYTHING else. Lots of
Parades, characters, shopping, rides, dancing, and exhaustion! haha!
What a great time to spend with my family! Nothing better
than to see your kids faces at Disney World! I love them!

Botanical Gardens

Today we went to these beautiful gardens downtown with our friends Stacy, Tasha, and baby Lincoln! There were lots of different areas with different kinds of plants, trees and flowers.  It was really fun to walk around and just be outside.  Although it was 100 degrees out today and humid!! The kids had fun running around, finding frogs, and watching all the butterflies!

The "Green Man Fountain"
One way to get a drink!

Reese looks so serious! I think she really means No adults allowed! Haha!

How Tall are you?

Carson got his first Bee Sting while we were there!  Hurt at first, but took it like a champ!

SO Green and beautiful!
Carson gettin' down!....haha

Atlanta

A group of us went to the Atlanta Aquarium, which was AMAZING! Definetely worth going to see if you are ever here!

This is a Shark whale, they had two or three in this tank. Lots of Sharks, thousands of fish in over 6 million gallons of water. They said they keep them very well fed so they don't each other. Very cool to see!
The kids watching the Beluga Whales

My sister wondered what they are standing by......its a fish..haha if ya cant tell!

Then our trip to Atlanta Zoo.  I didn't put up too many pictures because it seems like all zoo pictures are the same, and we've been to A LOT! But I had to post the picture of the Panda Bear! All the zoos we've been to, we have yet to see a Panda! Here it is in Atlanta! They have two and were really fun to watch!

Found me one heck of a Family!

Dave and I are getting married April 22nd! What a busy month this will be! I'm so excited and nothing has ever made me more happy than to have companionship and a family! Not to mention with two beautiful little kids who adore each other! Just to let you know about these two amazing people who changed our lives....
I met Dave at SUU the year we both graduated High School. We both attended a scholarship weekend before the school year actually began. We didn't actually talk or become friends until later during the school year when we found ourselves both working at the same job. Dave was playing football and was staying in the dorms across the street from where I was staying. We were mostly just friends at work, but we hung out a few times. Dave had a serious girlfriend that year before he left on his mission, and after the school year ended, I didn't think I would see or hear from him again. :)
The next year I was dating who would be my first husband. I got a letter in the mail at my mom's from an Elder Stevens :) I was excited to hear from him! I read the letter, then quickly remembered I was involved with someone, and didn't reply back......if only I could have seen my future. haha!
So February 2009 comes around, almost 6 years later. I found an old friend on facebook :) He had a beautiful little girl that was 3, and a long story just like mine. ha! We had lots to catch up on , and a lot of old memories to laugh at, and we quickly began to fall in love!
It has been a really great year with him and I look forward to the many rest of them!

Never know what you're gonna get!

A few weeks ago, I took Carson to an ENT to have his adnoids looked at. He hadn't been sleeping well, breathing loudly through his mouth, snoring, lots of mucus, and so forth. It had been going on for some time so I started to worry that something else was going on. The Dr. started with looking at his throat, and continued to his nostrils, as he got up his left nostril it was very dark and he wasn't able to look past something, so he got his tweezers out, reached up there, and found this black screw lodged up there! He and I both couldn't believe it!
I think it's been up there for a while, poor kid! Anyway, I asked him if he could breathe better and he smiled and said....yes! Truly, boys will be boys! Glad we finally reached the problem...hah!
