Happy New Year!

This year has been a great one for me! Met great new friends, been some really fun places, got me a great man and beautiful daughter, and become better friends with the most important people in my life.....my family! I cant wait to get going on my new goals, and actually see how far I get with them! haha!  Hope everyone has a wonderful new year!
I want to share a couple of my new favorite things!.....for the new year!

These 2 things have been amazing in helping Carson to read! BOB Books are my favorite! And I would recommend them to every parent who is helping their kids learn how to read.  Carson is just finishing this first set.  There are 12 books in each set, and 5 sets total. We have worked on these 12 for a few months, reading them over and over and over! Carson seems to never get sick of them though, and Im surprised at how well he is doing!
The Leapfrog was suggested to me by my aunt which both my kids LOVE to watch.  It helps them to learn their letters, sounds, and some words!

If you haven't heard of the Idea Room, you have got to check it out! I love following this blog and I actually try a lot of the fun ideas she has. She has suggestions for all kinds of things from organization, crafts, kids, etc.  Her link is http://www.theidearoom.net/

And just one more!  I found this blog "Clean Mama" through The Idea Room.  If you want a good routine or need some cleaning motivation, this is Awesome! She is doing "January is Cleaning Month" you should check it out and print off her printables, and have fun!:) The link is http://cleanmama.blogspot.com/

Fall, pumpkins, hayrides, and halloween!

Camping, fishing, and hunting!

After we got home from Georgia in August we were very eager to go camping!
We went up Spanish Fork Canyon and spent the night in our tent.(A little chilly:) and then
in the morning went fishing at Gooseberry Lake.  The kids had so much fun! Next year we'll get to
go camping more so Im very excited about that.
Dave got his bull up Spanish Fork Canyon this year! Was so much fun!

Carson turned 5!

I'm a little late on updating my blog! Carson turned 5 on Sept 22nd!
We had a really fun party with lots of family and a few friends.
Some things I love about Carson right now are: that he loves to sing and dance
anywhere and everywhere we go, i wouldn't be surprised if he knew more words to songs than
I do. haha!  He loves when we read Captain Underpants at night, and likes it when
Dave teaches him new things before bed.  He loves when we have Reese for the week.  She's his little
buddy and he looks out for her better than anyone.  He loves to wrestle with Dave and do puzzles,
and he loves Buzz Lightyear!

Disney World Orlando

This Last weekend we decided to take a quick trip and drive
from Atlanta to Orlando and take the kids to Magic Kingdom!
We knew we could only spend a day out there and I was worried
all the driving and long day there would just make the kids tired.
But it turned out to be the most fun day I've had with the kids
all Summer!  Disney World really IS a magical place!
We got there around 9:30am, rode the ferry into the park, and
found BUZZ LIGHTYEAR! The ride was our most favorite!
So fun! Then of course we did EVERYTHING else. Lots of
Parades, characters, shopping, rides, dancing, and exhaustion! haha!
What a great time to spend with my family! Nothing better
than to see your kids faces at Disney World! I love them!

Botanical Gardens

Today we went to these beautiful gardens downtown with our friends Stacy, Tasha, and baby Lincoln! There were lots of different areas with different kinds of plants, trees and flowers.  It was really fun to walk around and just be outside.  Although it was 100 degrees out today and humid!! The kids had fun running around, finding frogs, and watching all the butterflies!

The "Green Man Fountain"
One way to get a drink!

Reese looks so serious! I think she really means No adults allowed! Haha!

How Tall are you?

Carson got his first Bee Sting while we were there!  Hurt at first, but took it like a champ!

SO Green and beautiful!
Carson gettin' down!....haha

Atlanta

A group of us went to the Atlanta Aquarium, which was AMAZING! Definetely worth going to see if you are ever here!

This is a Shark whale, they had two or three in this tank. Lots of Sharks, thousands of fish in over 6 million gallons of water. They said they keep them very well fed so they don't each other. Very cool to see!
The kids watching the Beluga Whales

My sister wondered what they are standing by......its a fish..haha if ya cant tell!

Then our trip to Atlanta Zoo.  I didn't put up too many pictures because it seems like all zoo pictures are the same, and we've been to A LOT! But I had to post the picture of the Panda Bear! All the zoos we've been to, we have yet to see a Panda! Here it is in Atlanta! They have two and were really fun to watch!
